Dr. (Prof.) Vinit Banga
Director & Head - Neurology & Neurovascular Intervention
Dr. Vinit Banga is a leading Interventional Neurologist and the Director and Head of Neurology at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Delhi NCR. He specializes in treating brain, spine, nerve, and muscle disorders using minimally invasive techniques. With extensive experience in stroke treatment, aneurysm coiling, and neurovascular interventions, Dr. Banga provides advanced care for complex neurological conditions.
He completed his neurology training at IHBAS, Delhi, and pursued a stroke fellowship at the prestigious Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia. Dr. Banga is one of the few specialists in India with dual fellowships in Neuro-intervention and Stroke and holds an M.Sc. in Stroke Medicine from Donau University, Austria.
Dr. Banga’s advanced techniques offer effective solutions for conditions that were once difficult to treat. He is also a member of global organizations such as the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), World Stroke Organization (WSO), and World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology (WFITN).
